Hello, I'm Madison
Wedding+Portrait Photographer
I’m the kind of person who feels most at home somewhere between a quiet forest and a loud concert, usually with a book in one hand and a camera in the other. I lean a little gothic in both style and soul, drawn to dark tones, soft light, and anything that feels a little magical. If it has wings, magic, or a morally questionable main character, I’ve probably read it and loved it. My playlists live somewhere between metal that shakes your bones and musicals that make you feel everything all at once, and honestly, I think that contrast says a lot about me.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually in the middle of something creative. I do theatre, I craft, I dabble in homesteading, and I’m always finding small ways to make life feel a little more intentional and a little more beautiful. I’m also a mom of three, married to someone who somehow balances out all my chaos, and our home is full of kids, animals, noise, and love.
Photography, for me, is just an extension of how I see the world. A little moody, a little whimsical, and deeply rooted in real moments. I’m not here for stiff poses or perfection. I’m here for the in-between, the laughter, the softness, the chaos, and the magic that’s already there in your life.
My approach

When I walk into a session, I’m not looking for perfection, I’m looking for you. The way you laugh when you forget the camera is there, the way you reach for each other without thinking, the little moments that don’t feel like much until they’re gone. I’ll guide you, of course, but it never feels stiff or overly posed. It’s more like gentle direction mixed with a little chaos and a lot of laughter. I’ll probably say something slightly unhinged just to get a real reaction, and somehow it works every time.
I pay attention to the small things, the light hitting your hair, the way your kid clings to your hand, the quiet in-between moments that tell the real story. My sessions are laid back, a little playful, and always centered around making you feel comfortable enough to just be yourself. You don’t have to know what you’re doing, that’s my job. You just show up, love on your people, and I’ll take care of turning it into something you can hold onto forever.
